ABOUT

Singular is a curatorial practice built on a simple idea:

Not everything should be repeated.

Across Mexico, agave exists far beyond what the market recognizes.
There are over two hundred species, growing across different climates, altitudes, and soils, many of them wild, some taking decades to mature.

What the world knows as tequila represents only a fraction of this.

One species.
One region.
A system defined by regulation.

Beyond it, there is something else.

A landscape of makers working with intention rather than scale; families, artisans, and distillers who approach their work as a form of craft, and in some cases, as a form of art. Many operate outside denominations, outside export, and outside the structures that define what can be sold.

Not because they lack quality, but because they refuse to conform to it.

These are expressions shaped by place, time, and individual hands.
Often produced once.
Often never again.

Singular brings these forward.

We work directly with these makers to preserve what would otherwise remain unseen, pairing each spirit with a sculptural vessel conceived as its permanent body.

The liquid carries origin.
The vessel gives it form.

Together, they become a single object; both to experience and to live with.

This first body of work is presented as Project Agave.

A study in what exists beyond category.
A recognition of agave as a living material with depth, variation, and identity.
A way to honor the makers who continue to work without compromise.

This is not about product.
It is about preservation.

A living archive of objects where body and soul converge,
formed through collaboration with the creative minds of our time.

Works are not released.
They are placed.

Access is built through curiosity, presence, and relationship.

What exists here is finite by nature.
Not by design, but by reality.

We hold what time can no longer repeat.
